Tasty Breakfast Smoothie for Breast Cancer Prevention

You’re in for a big treat today folks! Today I share my all-time favorite breakfast smoothie…in a video! (why is watching yourself on screen always so unpleasant? I mean, do I really sound like that?) Though I can’t say this video is the finest, I had a lot of fun pretending I was on a cooking show!

So on to the recipe –

I really do have this smoothie for breakfast about 95% of the time. Although I must admit, I can’t take all the credit for it. This recipe has been a team effort between my husband and I. We both love smoothies, and after trying a gazillion recipes, we have landed on this one as our favorite. My husband is really into superfoods, so he makes my portion and then adds a bunch of other stuff to his, including protein powder. I tend to like mine a little more basic.

Enjoy the “special guest” that makes an appearance half-way through the video.

Hi Natalie,

Thanks for sharing your smoothie recipe, I will try it, but not all in the recipe because I’m living in a rural area, kale and flax are not available here.

Your welcome! Feel free to substitute the kale for any mild tasting type of green (spinach, romaine, etc). I hope you like it.
